How do I move into a unit?

  • Scan the QR code available or log onto www.bighornstorageofhardin.com
  • Fill out your information
  • Pay the prorated current month, a full month’s rent and the $25.00 security deposit
  • Receive your gate access code
  • Receive a code for the green lock on your unit
  • Move into your unit

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month.

What if my rent is late?

If rent has not been paid by 5:00pm on the 6th day of each month, a $15.00 late fee is added to your account, your gate access will be restricted and your unit will be overlocked until payment is made. If rent has not been paid by the 36th day, there is a $100.00 lien fee added to your account and then the auction process begins.

Can I pay online for my rental unit?

Yes! Go to www.bighornstorageofhardin.com. We offer the ability to sign up for autopay! The payment will be directly withdrawn from your choice of payment (Credit card, e-check) on the first of each month. That way, you don’t have to worry!

Is there a security deposit required to rent a storage unit?

Yes. There is a $25.00 security deposit due upon move-in. The good news is, if you give us a 30-day notice, your unit is cleaned, swept and there is no damage to your unit, you get the $25.00 back!

What security measures are in place to protect my stored goods?

  • Fully fenced
  • Security gate
  • 24/7 recorded video surveillance
  • Individual key pad code so we are able to monitor who is coming and who is going with our software program
  • Motion detectors in each unit
  • Well-lit isles and buildings

Do I have to supply my own lock?

Yes. Only 1 lock per unit please! We suggest you use disc locks.

What are the gate and office hours?

The gate hours are 5:00am to 10:00pm daily. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm by phone. In person appointments are available upon request.

What notification do I need to give to vacate my unit?

We require a 30-day notice to vacate if you would like to receive your $25.00 deposit back. All units must be cleaned, swept and free of damage in order to avoid being charged extra costs and voiding your deposit refund.

What happens if I damage my unit?

You will be responsible for all costs to repair your unit.

Do you have parking for RV’s and Trailers?

Yes, we have outside park spaces.

Do you offer insurance?

Insurance is available through Safestor.

Can I store a vehicle inside one of your units?

Yes, you can!
